Dr. Karen McKertich is a Urological Surgeon specialising in Female Urology and urinary incontinence.
Karen graduated top of her year in Medicine at the University of Melbourne and completed her Urological training in 2000. She has since undertaken further sub-specialisation in Female Urology, incontinence and prolapse surgery, Neurourology, as well as continuing to practice general Urology.
Karen is the Chairperson of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Urological Surgeons (ANZAUS), is on the Board of the Urological Society of Australian and New Zealand (USANZ) and was previously Vice-President of the Continence Foundation of Australia - Victorian Branch.
Karen is part of a multidisciplinary group practice of Urologists at Australian Urology Associates (AUA) and practices in Malvern, Caulfield, Hawthorn and Brighton. Her public hospital appointments include The Alfred Hospital, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital.
Karen’s practice includes assessment of urinary incontinence and prolapse, fluoroscopic urodynamic studies and the full spectrum of incontinence and prolapse management. Treatments offered include conservative, medical and minimally invasive procedures.
