Margaret Sherburn

Margaret is a senior lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, and was previously head of the Physiotherapy Department at the Royal Women’s Hospital. Her main areas of research and clinical practice are the conservative management of pelvic floor dysfunction in women with pelvic pain, prolapse or incontinence, the use of real-time ultrasound as a rehabilitation and measurement tool, and the role of exercise for pre and postnatal women. She is a Fellow of the College of Physiotherapy, a member of the Professional Practice standards Committee for the Women’s Men’s & Pelvic health group of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is the Editor of the Australian and New Zealand Continence Journal.
